Devina Mehra has been leading First Global for the past three decades - starting it off as a securities firm and investment bank and later transforming it into an Indian and Global Quantitative Asset Management firm.
Functionally, she has always headed the research, investment strategy and later the fund management functions which have always been the strengths of First Global.
Mehra started her professional career in Citibank working in the Investment Banking Group and then the Corporate Risk Strategy Group from 1986-1993.
In 1993, she quit Citibank and became an individual member of the Bombay Stock Exchange. This proprietorship was later corporatised into First Global along with a membership of the NSE.
